PERSONAL INFORMATIAON
I am married to my wonderful husband Richard (a software developer) for the past 15 years. We met online! We have an awesome 14 year-old son named RJ. RJ is an extremely gifted violinist and student. He participates in triathalons and enjoys playing soccer. We have a sweet yorkiepoo named Pirate.


MY INTERESTS
I love baseball! GO BRAVES! When it is not baseball season, I'm waiting for baseball season. When it is baseball season, you'll find me watching every game I can. I also love to read (especially audio books). Pirates and all things piratical are of special interest to me, as are kaleidoscopes. While I'm not a great artist, I am very craft-oriented and do crafts from weaving to needlework and crocheting.
AFFILIATIONS
I am the webmaster for the Georgia Future Problem Solving Program. I have worked as an evaluator and as a coach, and I have won several awards with GAFPSP. Check out the website: www.gafpsp.org

Masters of Science Degree in Secondary Education from Hofstra University, Hempstead, New York
I have additional graduate coursework in gifted education, atmospheric physics and meteorology, and astronomy.

I hold valid certifications in Gifted Education, Science, Social Studies, Language Arts, Mathematics and Middle Grades Education from the State of Georgia.
